NLRB Posting Rule Officially Postponed

April 19th, 2012 by JBWK

After one federal court upholding the NLRB posting requirement, and another striking it down, the federal D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals has now issued an emergency injunction postponing the rule’s implementation.

The injunction indefinitely delays the posting rule, which was scheduled to take effect April 30. As of now, employers do not have to comply with the posting requirement.

The injunction will last until the appeals are handled to ensure consistent enforcement.
