CHRISTOPHER L. RATHLEV

Biography

Mr. Rathlev is an attorney in the Litigation, Employment Law, and Business Practice Groups at Jones Blechman. Mr. Rathlev concentrates his practice in commercial and civil litigation, creditor’s rights, employment law and landlord/tenant law. He practices regularly in the Circuit Courts and General District Courts throughout Southeastern Virginia.

Mr. Rathlev earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law where he served as the Solicitations Editor for the Richmond Journal of Global Law and Business and was awarded the BNA Award for Significant Contributions to Labor and Employment Law. He earned his B.A. from the University of Richmond where he served as the Richmond College Student Body President his senior year.

Mr. Rathlev is also active in the community. He is in his first year serving as a volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula and is serving as volunteer with Smart Beginnings of the Peninsula and has volunteered his legal services with the Virgnia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.
