MICHAEL B. WARE

Biography

Mike is a trial lawyer with over 20 years of experience who has litigated cases in state and federal district courts, and has been before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Virginia Supreme Court. His civil litigation practice has included representing plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving contract disputes, defamation, insurance coverage issues, and lemon law. He has extensive knowledge concerning automobile dealer requirements. He has experience in criminal and traffic cases and attends Court on a weekly basis.

He has knowledge in real estate matters, both residential and commercial, as he has personally developed residential subdivisions. He has had many dealings with the James City County concerning environmental issues.

Mike currently serves on the Hampton Roads Country Day School Board, and assists the Board in legal issues.

His expertise in criminal law was recognized by his peers as Legal Elite by Virginia Business in December of 2006.
